Maddie is an Honors Kinesiology student at the University of Maryland- College Park. She plans to continue her education in Kinesiology after she graduates in 2008.
Maddie is a first-degree black belt in Taekwondo. She has 10 years of training from the local Taekwondo dojan World Taekwondo Masters with nationally recognized Taekwondo coach Ramy Latchinian. She has participated in many National and International Tournaments, including the Maryland States, Regionals, Senior Nationals, Junior Nationals, Collegiate Nationals, U.S. Open, Puerto Rico Goodwill Games 2002, Belgium Open, and German Open. She was a C team member in 2003 for Junior Team, and B and C team member for the collegiate national team. She placed first in the Puerto Rico Goodwill Games 2002 and first in Collegiate Nationals two years in a row.
In addition to Taekwondo, Maddie played volleyball at McDaniel College in Westminster, Maryland and also has a background in track and softball. She loves to dabble in any sport possible; currently she is attempting racquetball, golf, and participating in 10K races.
Maddie is a highly adventurous person, willing to try anything. A few of her adventures include skydiving, traveling to foreign and not-so foreign countries, and finally college.
