BIOGRAPHY
Stephen Sakaris has an extensive background in strength and conditioning from his time competing with Ohio State University’s varsity swim team. He competed all four years at the varsity level for the Buckeyes, contributing as an NCAA All American and Big Ten Champion, as well as receiving the Buckeye Power Club award for his efforts in the weight room.
He has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in sport management. After graduate school, Stephen began coaching at Rockville Montgomery Swim Club and is currently the head coach of the senior group. Stephen also runs dry-land swim training camps for local swimmers to improve their skills. Stephen is a Potomac native, graduating from Thomas S. Wootton High School where he competed all four years on their varsity swim team.
Steven is excited to use his unique background and specialized skill set in college and high school athletics to develop programs that will challenge and develop young athletes to reach their true potential. His skill set also caters to supporting the general population achieve their health and fitness goals.
